Extended Biography:

Lil is a 2001 graduate of Desert Institute of the Healing Arts in Tucson, AZ. She is sole proprietor of As You Are, LLC in Tucson. Lil began volunteering for the Arizona Chapter as Chair of the Education Committee. She then moved to AMTA-AZ 1st Vice President, eventually assuming the position of President of the Arizona Chapter in May 2009. She served twice on the House of Delegates representing Arizona.

Lil and her husband Bob have no kids, 2 cats (in addition to all kinds of desert critters) and live on 5 beautiful foothill acres NW of Tucson. In her 'previous life,' she worked for 'Big Blue' (IBM) for 13 years. She eventually went back to her first love--medicine--as a back office Medical Assistant for a family practice physician. Instead of further pursuing her medical career, and due to feeling the continued need for personal contact, she found her true calling in the massage profession. Lil feels blessed to have made so many wonderful friends and clients through her new profession.
